I highly recommend El Torito! Me and my boyfriend always come eat here. They have amazing food, good prices, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming! I am vegetarian and have no problem finding food here either. I recommend everyone come stop by and support their business, it is #1 in our book!
Very good Mexican food and nice people.
Made me super sick. Food was luke warm. Chicken tasted like canned chicken.
Food was on par with other older Mexican restaurants. Service was excellent as well were the only people there. Music was offensively loud and atmosphere dated.
One of the places I miss from Mount Vernon, went back to visit friends and we decided to go for dinner to el torito. We were going for the chicken soup, I have seen it before on the menu, and sounded really good for a cold winter night. Surprise they also had mojarra frita ( fried tilapia) . I ordered the mojarra frita , my friend’s the soup. We couldn’t decide which one was more delicious. Tasty, flavored, well cooked. Would definitely come back for more.
