We stay every year at Agarita Farms and love the cabins and the view of the Hill Country. There are beautiful sunsets from the cabin porch. The cabins have a lot of space and much more comfortable than a hotel. The breakfast is good, and the owners are friendly and attentive. We enjoy the tour of the farm and animals, and our daughter loves to feed the chickens and sheep. You feel like you have escaped to the country yet are very close to the main shopping and eating in Fredericksburg. It is the best of both worlds. We alway... read more

We've stayed at Agarita Creek many times. That Hill Country and Pedernales are in my heart and soul. I nested in front of the fireplace in our 2-story cabin -- watched the deer out the front windows in the mornings, priceless. Beverly took us around to feed the livestock. Maybe the most uncomfortable bed we've ever slept on (chose the more expensive cabin) and the shower is tiny - am 6'4" and was barely able to turn around. Drive to Main Street is about 10 minutes from the property. The private drives leading to the property are quite rough and full of potholes, so consider this if driving your own vehicle. Also a dog on the property would come outside of our cabin and bark for hour(s) every night around 2-3am. Great view, but would recommend a place closer & cheaper if you plan on spending a... read more

We had such a wonderful time during our stay at Agarita Creek Farms. Our cabin was just lovely. It had such a cozy, farm life energy and a beautiful view. I loved being able to wall around and see the farm animals and wildlife, especially the sweet little lambs. The owners were very hospitable. It's also less than 15 min from downtown, so it was easy to do a little shopping and enjoy the restaurants.
