i have been a patient of dr marin for over 20 years. scheduled my annual gyn visit. when i called to make my appointment i clearly advised the receptionist of my dual inusrances. and she said i wb ok. i arrived to the appointment only to find out they no longer accept my insurance and would not bill me. when i requested to sw with dr marin the receptionist got hostile and rude and absolutely refused to let me speak to the dr. when i inquired about the cost of the visit she was not sure. i immediatley canceled the visit and w... read more
I have been a patient of Dr. Marin for over 10 years. She has the best bedside manner and really cares about her patients. I refer all my friends and family to her practice.
Was a patient for 10 years and found Dr. Marin to be fine with routine matters. Recently had a bleeding issue post menopause (after no bleeding for 20 years) and after a biopsy and ultrasound the diagnosis I received was that my ovaries were 'just waking up'. I ran. Beware.
I have had numerous bad instances with Dr. Marin. I had blood test done with her, for I did not have a primary doctor at the time, which cost about $4k. It has been over a month since she has given me the results after numerous times asking for the results. Then, after needing a urine culture for an emergency UTI, they told me to go see a doctor at urgent care instead of my trusted doctor. Telling me they couldn't give me medicine without one. Probably one of the brightest physicians I have ever had...and at the same time very gentle, compassionate and not rushed. A more comprehensive GYN annual visit than I’ve experienced and great follow up communication. Entire staff/team is very friendly.
Brilliant, compassionate, very dedicated to women’s holistic health and well-being. Provides great education information as part if each visit. supportive yet very pragmatic. She has taken care of me for years.
I have been with Dr. Marin for many years and I have found her to be extremely understanding and very compassionate. She has addressed all my issues good and bad. I adore her and her opinions.
Office is disorganized. Patients time is not valued. You should not have to waste your time to continually call a doctors office to follow up on things that were promised to be done.
Not impressed. Have switched Dr's. Diagnosis was leaning towards autoimmune disease. The marks on my chest that were allegedly due to disease, were confirmed to be sun damage by dermatologist. Difficult to get test results, and when called office, treatment plan changed twice. Will always do whats best for health, but want to be informed to make best decision especially when asked if "I want" an MRI or outpatient surgery. Spent additional monies on new Dr. to get clarification.
