Dr. Afzal saved my life. Years ago I had extreme chest pain-- felt like a long bladed spear was in me. At the hospital, the pain had subsided. The docs saw no symptoms, no problems, wanted to send me home. I asked to stay overnight . Dr. Afzal let me. He checked my arteries for blockages and some existed, which would explain my symptoms. He put in at least one stent, and I have had no major symptoms since. If the docs had sent me home, I think I would have died.
