I’ve been going here for years and, after attending a couple other studios in the greater Portland area, Afterglow is definitely my favorite. I love the space, their approach, the instructors, and the overall vibe of the place. I genuinely look forward to my class every week and have really found community here. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love this place, the teachers are friendly and so encouraging! I’ve been going for over a year now and am always filled with joy going to my sling classes. It’s always rewarding when I get to see my own growth in class from when I started in the beginning to now in more advanced classes. Highly recommend this place if you are curious about sling or any other apparatus.
By far the best of the two aerial gyms I’ve tried! The teachers here are fabulous. When I started out ten months ago I had no strength and couldn’t even get up into the apparatus; now I’m easily climbing silks to the top! I’m having a grand time on Lyra, silks, sling, and trapeze, and I feel stronger and fitter than I’ve been in over a decade.
My child loved taking classes here and I even took a few series and had a great time. The teachers are kind, welcoming, and knowledgable. The 4 stars are solely for that. However, it has become difficult to continue to support this place. From a consumers standpoint, the schedule is constantly changing, students never have any heads up when there will be a substitute and sometimes a new teacher will take over a class entirely in the middle of a series.
