Did not even get in the door, as soon as I called while waiting outside it was clear that this place is just taking advantage of people's sudden late struggles as the intake alone is 150$ (daytime vet average is 50-80$) I did not get a chance to ask any other questions before papers were practically shoved through the phone. I really wish there was a better option late night in Fairbanks. 0 stars. 🤨
Overcharge people for terrible work on animals sad there are no other choices in town in an emergency my dog’s stitches did not even stay in 2 days
Don’t recommend- the experience over loosing a family pet was not only devastating but due to their employees, traumatic. They didn’t even receive the symptoms and just marked it off saying she “just ate something”. She was one of the most fun loving dogs and constantly cared for and watched now because of their actions we won’t actually know what causes her early death.
After explaining my pet’s horrible symptoms over the phone and rushing to the After Hours Clinic, they gave us paperwork and did not examine my dog. They didn’t listen to her symptoms, just asked if she was the “lethargic” dog, when she had many other serious symptoms. We waited for about an hour, as there was two dogs ahead of us, my poor baby in obvious pain. She started spasming and panting so we asked if they could at least look at her. Absolutely horrible experience. Brought our 2 year old dog that was throwing up and couldn’t walk and wasn’t taken seriously at all. Forced to wait over an hour before having to go back inside to tell them our dog was having a seizure. The doctor finally decided to step out to my car to check on our dog and decided to take her in early. She was rude and super unprofessional to my girlfriend and I as our dog laid there in pain. RecommendedI highly recommend the After Hours Emergency Clinic. My Yorkie suddenly became unresponsive, was very weak, vomited, lost control of her bowels and her tongue turned white. I looked them up online for a number and it instructs you to call first. The lady (vet tech maybe?) I spoke with was very calm and got all my info, informed me of the exam fees, and spoke to the vet who instructed me to bring my girl in right away. I can’t say I’ve ever actually enjoyed a trip to a vet, until now. I left after our visit tonight extremely satisfied with care received and with a much happier cat. Staff was very upfront about fees for services provided which is absolutely warranted as an emergency 24 hr service. Pricing was reasonable, and cheaper than our normal vet, plus the staff asked for the go-ahead before administering any meds or services to ensure we weren’t charged for anything we didn’t agree to.
