Treat children well We have been to this urgent care center several times in the past year. Once, we had to wait 2 hours to be seen, but usually they are pretty quick about getting your little one back to see the doctor. We have always received quality care here, and it helps that they are open late. So much better than going to the emergency room. PROS: Good doctors and quality care CONS: Sometimes there's a long wait
After Hours Pediatrics-A Great Alternative My family and I have had the opportunity to visit After Hours Pediatrics on several occasions. The nurses, staff and doctors are always friendly and helpful. We have never had a long wait and the rooms are kid friendly with videos and bright murals. A great alternative for those times when your regular pediatrician is not available.
PARENTS- BE WARE OF DR. BEACH-REBER I took my 5 year old son to see Dr. Pamela Beach-Reber and it was THE WORST EXPERIENCE I have ever had with a pediatric after hours place!! We usually use our local peds after hours in Palm Harbor, FL and WE LOVE THEM!! I tried explaining to her that my son had had strep throat back in the beginning of May and ended up at the later part of May with strep again along with really high fevers and a double ear infection. PARENTS BEWARE - Unpleasant and disappointing would be an understatement. I brought my kid (2 yrs old) here for help and perhaps an answer to his condition, (diarrhea and rash) instead all I got is what I already knew and the Doctor on staff recommended I take him to his regular Doctor. I am baffled and upset as to what some medical practices have become, a mere money machine interested in my insurance coverage rather than the act of doing right by patients, especially kids. for your child's sake, go elsewhere Of the reception and nursing staff, one was more rude and unkind than the next. Just when I thought it couldn't get worse, Dr, Kaplan came in. He was rough with my two year old that had ear infections. He has no bedside manner with her and was anything but patient and kind to my child. Not to mention that he was condecending towards me. I DO NOT recommend this facility!
BAD EXPERIENCE When i first walked in my experience with the front office staff was excellent, but things quickly went downhill when Dr. Kaplan walked into the room. I knew from the moment when he entered the room and didnt even introduce himself to me or say hell that this was going to be a office that i would regret coming to. Rave reviews! You do not have to wait with a sick little one at After Hours. The staff is very nice and caring. They keep your records unlike some other walk-in clinics and you don't have to redo them.
Wonderful service We had to bring our two year old in for stitches on his forehead. The wait was very short. The staff were kind and considerate. The atmosphere was pleasant and entertaining with the individualized tv in each little waiting area in the back. I am so grateful for the convenience and child friendly atmosphere when your child is feeling their worst compared to going to an e.r. environment. thanks so much!!
Just amazing This is like a little ER for little ones. I had my son with some earache and I took him around 7pm and the service was just amazing. The lobby is painted with the ocean and absolutely kid friendly to make their wait enjoyable. They attend it to my sons pain immediately and I am so happy they were so close to me.
