"Step right up and spin the wheel! If you land on the right number, your child can see their doctor!" I love my children's pediatrician, but AHP's scheduling system is abusive. I recently received a call saying my child's appt the next business day would need to be rescheduled. Ok, things happen. But they - shockingly - would not reschedule me, due to their policy of only opening appointments 3 weeks in advance. Worst nurses ever I got my daughter 6 months shots they were not gentle at all. They heard my daughter. They did not explain anything. What should I do after the shot because she got really sick i’m changing my doctor right away. Do not go to them. And is so hard to make your appointments when you are at a visit that don’t like you scheduled the next visit until two weeks ahead and when you call, they don’t have an opening. You have to call another week
Took my little one in on a Friday for yellow discharge in both eyes and a runny nose. The pediatrician said it was just allergies which I was 100% sure it was conjunctivitis. A day later we went to urgent care for a second opinion and sure enough they sent us home with eyes drops for a bacterial infection. You take an oath as a doctor to help those in need and not cause harm. Not too dismiss our young ones who need your expertise. Take time to treat your patients instead of just dismissing them.
I never been here, but I had to take my child here once so this is a weird doctor. It’s not like the other ones my daughter likes but she just doesn’t like the golf course one
We’ve had both amazing and mediocre experiences at After Hours. But most recently we saw Dr. Ash who was very professional, compassionate, and soft-spoken. He went the extra mile to make sure all of our son’s needs were addressed even during a short visit. The nurse, I think her name was Issa, was also amazing with our son’s care. She read through his chart beforehand and told us his vitals without us asking which made the visit and explaining our concerns much smoother. She works very well with kids. Thank you to both!
