Honestly AfriKin is doing incredible work bridging art, culture, and community, and I feel so fortunate to have exhibited with them. From the first conversation, Alfonso's vision, care and generosity were obvious that he creates space for artists to be seen and celebrated in a way that feels genuine and rare. The whole experience, from planning through the exhibition itself, was thoughtful and well organized. Grateful to have been part of what they're building, and I can't wait to see where AfriKin goes next.
Afrikin is a cultural treasure that South Florida is fortunate to have in its midst.
The Afrikin movement is a positive powerhouse and a bonafide vehicle for love and unity. I've attended and participated in numerous Afrikin events over the years and I've always been impressed with the level of world-class entertainment, sincerity, diversity and attention to detail. It's rare to find a group that remains humble while delivering such high caliber events on a consistent basis.
