My daughter loves this place! We have had a season pass for two years now! We got our pass on groupon. You get your money back in one visit! Wish there was a larger variety of animals in the driving area though! The last time we were there a deer jumped on my running boards and then hoofs went to the window and when I took off it scratched the whole side of my truck! First time that has happened in the 15+ times we have been there! Not happy about my door but well worth the fun!

It was seriously so much fun, but my advice is to buy ONE OF EACH (grain and carrot) at the beginning because almost none of the animals eat the grain. There's a stop right before the fences where they offer you more carrots for $5 a bag. My boyfriend and I bought four bags and it lasted us the rest of the way. It was a great experience and I highly recommend it.

Hi Abigail, Thank you for taking the time to review us. We are thrilled to hear you had a great time at African Safari! Our animals definitely love carrots! :)
My 2 year old had a blast which is most important. I loved the buffalo and the oxen but the rest was just deer....and at the end there's no feeding giraffe or zebra because they are separated and wanted nothing to do with anyone driving by. Also going in blind(never been there before) I'm so glad I was driving a crappy mini van because it got smacked by horns so many times, which I didn't care and found it amusing, but having a brand new car now there is no way I'd go back.

Hi Jacqulyn, Thank you for taking the time to review us. We are glad to hear you had an enjoyable time at African Safari! We offer our guests the opportunity to feed over 15 different animal species in our Drive-Thru Safari. We recommend visiting the park earlier in the morning, as the animals will be more active and likely to feed from your car, including the giraffe and zebra. They love carrots! If you would like to discuss this further, please email us at info@africansafariwildlifepark.com .
Awesome place. We had a blast. The only thing I would recommend for anyone looking to go there in the future is fold your car mirrors in when going thru the drive thru part. We almost lost a mirror to a bison. Lol. Still fun though and would definatley go again!

This was okay for a day trip but I won't return. The animals did not seem like they were taken care of. The baby zebras were in a small cage where you couldn't feed them, then towards the end while feeding the giraffe's you could see all kinds of cuts on them from their fence which is horrible. Then there was another zebra on the opposite side which was also covered in cuts from the fence. Not worth driving over 3 hours one way for. The Wilds is a much better place with healthy animals

We loved this so much never laughed so hard it really was a great time. Will be going back soon!!!
By far the exhibits and all the up close animal experience was above and beyond awesome. However the place lost a star for the rude lady behind the counter and the gatekeeper of the drive safari for his excessive horrible treatment of the animals. I would definitely come back here, but I do think this place needs to teach their workers a little bit of customer service and respect for the customers. We tried the kangaroo feeding experience and it was so awesome. However, I really did think that we were going to be inside with... read more
