This was so fun! My family and I took a break from Kalahari to take a drive to Port Clinton and check out the Safari . We loved it! The animals were friendly but persistent. The staff was also friendly but firm about when and where to feed. Check out this gem!

Business response:

I really liked it, it was my first time and I would go back again. I was sad I couldn't see the giraffes, and kangaroos as it was barely 60 degrees out.And they had to stay indoors. Halfofftoledo had the best affordable deal and I'm looking to go back once it's warmer out. Kids would really like this place, the drive thru was the main attraction and really cool having buffalo right up nest to you car lol.

Business response:

Hi Mike, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are happy to hear you had an enjoyable experience at African Safari! Now that we are in our Fall Season, the majority of the Walk-Thru animals are no longer on exhibit and the Giraffe are only out in the Drive-Thru if it is above 60 degrees and sunny. We hope to see you next year in the Summer when everything is up-and-running!

It was so much fun! I have a 11 and 15 year old and we all had a lot of laughs. There were not many animals in the walk through area. My guess is that since its late in the season they had been relocated.

Business response:

Hi Renee, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are so glad to hear you and your family had a WILD time at African Safari and made some memories with our wonderful animals! We are now operating in our Fall Season and close on December 4th - most of our animals are no longer on exhibit in the Walk-Thru due to colder temperatures. We thank you for your understanding. If you would like to discuss your experience further, please privately message us! :)
