I want to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for African lounge Thunder Bay Restaurant. A few days ago, I placed a last-minute, large-scale food order that I honestly didn’t think would be possible given the time constraints. Amazing and sumptuous food, I will return again!!!
What a delightful experience to learn about this gem and meet the owner! We stocked up on shitor (dried fish and pepper condiment) from the market shelf and can’t wait to return for takeout and catering in the future.
This place is hands down one of the best African food spots in town. The owner, Mercy, always comes through whenever I reach out—especially when I need catering for our family gatherings. She never disappoints. My dad is from Ghana and lives in the GTA, and every time he comes to visit, one thing is non-negotiable: we make sure to place an order with Mercy at The African Lounge.
