This place is rude, unprofessional and arrogant about its ignorant nature. When I arrived there were two braiders already with customers. I asked her how long would it take and if I would have 2 braiders on my head and she rudely replied that it would depend upon if her other customers arrived. Here I had an appointment and there was no braider aval. I will be going to my salon in Dallas off of Skillman from now on for the service and professionalism, and African Glamour Braids in Plano should be closed down.

I was charged $80 after i was told $30 for my daughter who is 8 braids. It was just braided into a Mohawk no design no bead just plain. When I confronted her about it( which was the next day cause I didn't realize she charge me that till later that night cause she ran my card as debit(pin number) and it didn't show the price so I thought it was ran for $30. I had my hair done by African Glamour and i have to say i was very satisfied with the out come of the braids. Yes they are loud but they are also very friendly. I went to get my hair braided and it looks great but the loudness didn't bother me i just assume that is there culture and i accept that. At least the braids were perfect and they were fast, this is coming from someone that has been getting braids for ages and i most say most african braid shop are pretty loud :) so it just comes with the braids. THIS PLACE IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I HATE I USED MY CREDIT CARD THERE! I DO NOT TRUST THEM AT ALL! THEY CURSE WHILE YOU ARE BEING SERVICED. THEY TALK LOUDLY WHILE YOU ARE IN THE CHAIR. THEY HAVE THEIR CHILD RUNNING AROUND GETTING INTO EVERTHING! THEY GET 3 PEOPLE ON YOUR HEAD AND STILL TAKE ALL DAY LONG! I was told to be at my appointmen at 2pm but I get their early around 1:35pm. When I arrived one of the stylist was skyping with a relative on a laptop and talked loudly on a cellphone about 80% of my visit. Not professional at all. Once I got seated in the chair a stylist started braid the back of my hair and then suddenly stated that she was hungry and left and went and got lunch and then came back and ate the lunch all while I set in the chair with about a fourth of my hair braided.
