I would recommend Dr Afong, his nurse Practitioner, Kristin and the nurses to everyone! They have changed my life. I can now live an almost pain free life. I no longer take meds with terrible side effects. I am able to actually live a productive enjoyable life. Thank God I was referred to them in 2021. K. McKay
The office staff must be sabotaging the practice! The rating would be zero stars but the Dr. might be good. (Never got a chance to find out.) 1st appointment was rescheduled by a member of the staff via phone call from the office a few days before the scheduled date. 2nd attempt the appointment wasn't actually in their system....good thing I called the day before to verify. I'd LOVE to give Dr. Afong 5 stars because he deserves it but I have to rate my whole experience with this business and it absolutely needs improvement. Dr. Afong was great and the procedure he recommended worked miracles. His front office staff is great and very polite. Unfortunately, after my procedure, I received a bill from the anesthesiologist they used for $1200. This was a bill I was not expecting. No one told me the anesthesiologist was not an employee of the center but a contractor, nor did they tell me she was out ... read more
My experience with this pain management doctor was extremely disappointing from start to finish. When I entered the exam room, he never greeted me, never made eye contact, and did not say a single word. He kept his back turned toward me, performed the injections in complete silence, and then walked out. The lack of communication and basic bedside manner made me feel invisible and uncared for.
