I was introduced to Dr. Tara Brooks by the rescue group Dirk's Fund. We had adapted a golden that needed surgery and care. Dr. Brooks took over, even driving our golden to Mizzou for the specialized surgery. This goes back 18 years or so. She was so special in her treatment of our pets, a holistic approach that included good natural food. Over the past 7 years we had our third rescue dog from Dirks, for whom Dr. Brooks provided his medical care.
