I take my 2 cats Mickey and Winky to Affton Veterinary Clinic to see Dr. Tara Brooks and she is absolutely the BEST veterinarian and she is very caring and compassionate and very knowledgeable and she listens to your concerns. Her staff is the Best at everything and they are very caring and compassionate as well! The prices are reasonable, and I recommend Affton Veterinary Clinic to anyone who really cares about their pets, and wants to receive the very best care for their cats and dogs. They are AWESOME!!!
My furbabie was not eating, took him to Affton Vet and found out he had some bad teeth. They put him on antibiotics, brought him back week later for canine extraction and now hes like a pup again with very BIG appetite I must add! Love this place, esp Dr. Brooks, will be taking my other furbabie there next. Pricing very fair and I do my research on that part due to the fact I have THREE. Meet Deezle (Aka DENNIS THE MENACE) and that's KITTIES box he loves (yes, he has real bed too lol)
I am a pet lover, and I have to say that Dr Brooks and her staff is by far the best group of pet care givers I have ever met, my dog Mac hated vets, but this group made him happy to be cared for, they were totally supportive to me through his life and in his passing. They also love my cat 'Little' who they let develop a great peronality which he still has today, I wish I did not have to move, I miss this group so much, you will not find a better vet anywhere, thank you for be there for us Affton Vet Clinic
Love this clinic, they have been amazing with our pets. We have an elderly lab and a younger mutt with a lot of allergies. Their care and patience has always been greatly appreciated by us.
Visited this clinic a few days ago because they said they handle small/exotic animals like guinea pigs. He has a big lump with an open, bleeding area in his belly, dragging his hind legs and not eating and drinking as much. Went in and the vet just examined him and did nothing else. I was referred us to a different vet who specializes on small animals. Really? You could have said no in the first place so I didn't have to waste my time going to your clinic and paying money for nothing done for my suffering pet!
rip howard Dr. Brooks has never met my American boxer before, till Aug. 4 when our house caught on fire and Howard did not make it. My sister, fiance, and niece took my boy to affton because it was right up the street a week later we get the call that his ashes r in. My fiance had to pick him up because I couldn't do it. Well besides the ashes, Dr. Brooks had taken his paw print and put it into clay and the card she wrote made me cry more. Great Staff! I came to Affton Vet originally for a 2nd opinion. I was taking my cat to Webster Animal and didn't feel like I was getting personalized service. I felt like they didn't really care about my cat, or my finances and I never saw the same Dr. I saw Dr. Brooks at Affton Vet and she was really sweet. She talked to me about my cat for at least 20 minutes and made me feel at ease about how much treatment would cost. A wonderful place for you and your pets! Dr. Brooks is a wonderful vet, and the clinic staff are first rate. They have helped us through the worst of times (saying good-bye to 2 elderly dogs) and the best of times (welcoming a new puppy.) Our dogs love her as much as we do. She is always trying to find cost-effective alternatives when needed, and we are always able to reach her, day or night.
Affton Veterinary Clinic is great great doc and fantastic staff. you can see they really care. very knowledgeable as well. I could tell vet was sensitive about my financial situation and managed to give great care for my pup within my budget.
