I was advised at my recent car service (different company) that my two rear tyres urgently need replacing, costing $460. I was recommended to Affordable Tyres by my workplace, as they service their company fleet. After inspecting my car, the mechanic asked me why I was replacing the tyres and advised they still had a few thousand kms left in them? Took my commodore with a miss to them, been going there for years. Told I needed a part, took 2days to turn up, $170. My car missed all the way home, Rang Steve up and was told to bring it back. Was then told needed more work and given another bill for the 1 same problem? Never again Steve, I just felt scammed, again 2 invoices for 1 fix. It was only a v6 commodore?
These guys are fantastic Called at 4:30pm about a punctured tyre and they got it done by 5pm. Very honest and reliable, I highly recommend
So pleasing and refreshing to find a truly honest and genuine tyre/service centre. Best price on top 5 x top brand tyres and fast service. Forgot to ask for wheel alignment which they did for no cost. Offered follow up rotation service every 10k. I was recommended Affordable Tyres by a neighbour who has used them for years...and now know why!
These guys are one of the few good, genuine businesses around. They're honest, hard working, fast, fairly priced, and even managed to make me laugh after a disaster of a trip to my car's dealership (not to mention managing to fit me in just before they closed). They're the exact opposite of what my dad told me to look out for with mechanics.
