Good Furniture – Got a awesome futon from there for pretty cheap, which is good considering I'm a poor college student. The clutter isn't a huge deal, just don't expect a showroom. Nice enough place, I'd go back.
Great store! – The customer service was great! I don't know what the other posters are talking about. Everything went fine, great furniture.
Interesting and fun – A great mom and pop shop. Lots and lots of stuff and they are willing to deliver and order things for you. Good deals and just a great family business which is what makes Chicago great!
Horrible experience – From the scary delivery men to the laziness of waiting a month and a half for a credit of an item which came with missing paint and dents in it. I would not recommend buying ANYthing from this store as they were rude and never called back after asking for a credit three times and then hung up on when I called frustrated from never hearing from them regarding the credit.
Love it! – I was looking for information on Chicago furniture and wanted to share my experience with Affordable Portables. The person who waited on me actually had a brain! She was also cute and very nice. I bought a couch that beat the other couch I was looking at by hundreds of dollars! The couch has had heavy use of all kind and is still going strong. Affordable Portables - worst customer service ever experienced – Affordable Portables was a disaster to deal with, they had the worst customer service, I received damaged furniture, and was told contradictory information from their sales people. I was treated very rudely and will never shop there again. The items may be cheap, but it is not worth the aggravation to shop there.

lincoln pk/lakeview furniture bargain – i went to buy a futon but also got a kitchen table and chairs and bookcase....lots of hidden treasures and stuff you don't see anywhere else....salespeople were really helpful
