DO NOT USE THIS AGENCY! THE OWNER/ADMINISTRATOR ABANDONED AN ELDERLY CLIENT FOR 10 DAYS. I would give 0 stars if I could. My father is a frail, elderly man who was under the care of the VA Clinic who contracted AFFORDABLE NURSING SERVICES for home health care. After ~3 weeks, Affordable Nursing Services abruptly stopped. I called the owner/administrator Patricia of Affordable Nursing Services and she reacted very unprofessionally and inappropriately to my inquiry about the situation. DO NOT WORK WITH THEM. This is the most unprofessional company that I have ever worked with. The quality and service of care they sent is useless and totally inexperienced. Supposedly, they sent their best aide. The aide spent 95% of her time on the phone, did not know how to do transfers, was rude as to walking right into our home rather than ringing the doorbell. Unfortunately I was given this agency by the VA for our handicap Veterian who suffered a fracture to his hip. After waiting a week for someone to come from the agency we finally received notice that we where getting an aid however that was a no call no show . Then we received an aid who was supposedly there best . This care taker was careless . I had to remind her to lock the wheel chair as she was ready to transfer our Va without checking.
