I never in my life thought I would have to file a Bankruptcy. For me, it was one of the hardest decisions I've had to make. All Assets Exempt, Trustee Sells – According to the website, debtconsolidationcare, a Chapter 7 bankruptcy involves a Trustee selling some of the bankrupt person's assests, deemed non-exempt during the filing of the bankruptcy. Yet, at the Sacramento, California Self-Help Legal Center, a legal representative apparently filed all of my Chapter 7 bankruptcy assets as completely exempt. Best choice I could have made! – I needed to change my custody agreement with my ex-husband. Of course he wanted to make it very difficult for me. I tried to go to the court and do it myself and they were so packed after 2 days of waiting with no help I was becoming very distraught. A friend told me that a paralegal could help me. Made a mistake – I married the wrong girl and Affordable Legal Aid helped me get through the divorce process quick and easy. Most everything was able to be done through the mail. Any time I had a question the staff was always helpful. I never had to go to court and I wasn't charged an arm and a leg. The name isn't a lie, they truly are affordable. If I ever decide to get married again, I'm glad there's people around like the folks at Affordable Legal Aid to bail me out if it goes south. Thanks!

Very Professional, Yet SO nice & personable – Bankruptcy is no fun, and can be stressful. However, the staff at Affordable Legal Aid made this process easier than I had imagined, and far less stressful than I thought it would be. I spoke with Brandi several times over the phone. Excellent Service – Affordable Legal Aid handled my divorce for me. They were courteous and professional. They guided me through something I knew nothing about and helped make the whole process less painful. Nice people, reasonable prices. I couldn't have been more pleased.

"Couldn't Have Been in Better Hands" – A co-worker of mine shared with me that he was facing some of the same financial trials I was and that he had gotten immediate relief from Affordable Legal Aid Inc. He gave me their phone number and it only took 1 phone call to realize that I was in Good Hands!
