Affordable Design - I give it 5 stars even though I did not hire them. I was in the process of hiring a contractor to repaint my interior and replace cabinets. I contacted several companies. First and foremost, the communication from the office manager Nathan was top-notch. We had an exceptional experience with Affordable Design & Remodel from initial quote phase to the final sign off. Dorian Vaknin and Liam Fadlad were very professional project managers. The quality of the work was exceptional and they were able finish the project ahead of schedule.
DO NOT GO with Affordable Design and Remodel. We paid a down payment in August for our kitchen remodeling, and they supposed to finalize the project in November but until today we have zero progress. All they have done is a poke holes in our kitchen. We have been trying to cancel the work because of that, and they have been forcing us to stay or to pay the 20% of the total amount, for nothing. This is crazy.
Nadir was a wonderful project manager who goes above and beyond to ensure work quality and deadline are met. We are happy to refer him to anyone that wants to do bathroom remodeling.
CUSTOMER BEWARE: DO NOT go with Affordable Design and Remodel!!! They took months to "start" but had zero progress. They were supposed to start the work in our kitchen remodeling on August and finish it by now in November. We've been patient and gracefully waiting 4 months for anything to happen or any touching base from them, AND STILL nothing has been done other than a bunch of one-foot holes they poked in our kitchen ceiling and our walls, that's it.
