Affordable Bathroom Solutions just completed a bathroom reno for my wife and I. They took out a tub, installed a shower and replaced a window in the bathroom with a smaller one. When we discussed adding some scope to the job, it added very little time to the job duration and extra cost was very reasonable. The final cost came in under another estimate and I believe this was a much better result.
These guys showed up in the evening on a weekday after 6 pm to accomodate my free time. In 10 minutes I was given a qoute and hired them. They came in on time and worked 7 straight hours the first day. They took a bathroom that was not square or flat and made the tiles square and level. It took 3 days as we had some snags but they handled it professionally and did not ask for ANY payment until they finished the job. Do not pay in full until warranty work is complete. Pavlo sprayed killz on our white ceiling and turned it yellow. It's a mess. The grout around the base of the shower failed and instead of fixing it, he used caulking to cover up the failed grout. After 1 month the caulking is peeling off. Also many of our wall tile and floor tiles have small chips. No attention to detail. We gave him multiple opportunities to make it right but he refused. I'm very disappointed in his work. Everything started out well with Affordable Bathroom Solutions, the crew showed up when they said they would be there and progressed quickly with a shower replacement. Unfortunately some of the work the crew did was substandard and when this was brought up my concerns were ignored. When I finally convinced Pavlo to address leaks and failing grout he used fixes that are completely incorrect.
