I stayed with Wanda and David at Affordable Accommodation for about a month. For me (and my pot plants) it was like a very friendly "home away from home", and I can't thank them enough for their kindness during this time. The facilities are maintained to a high standard and great value for money. Location is amazing. beware, they post signs saying: weekly specials but in reality people never get that. when I first went there a man told me the true weekly rate but when I went back a woman said to me: no, that is not the weekly rental, the weekly rental she gave me was much, much higher but when I asked for a daily rental the number she gave match the weekly rental she gave me proving her so called discounted weekly rental was not true and the weekly rental the first man gave me was correct.
I found my stay there great. Nice and quiet, handy to shops and takeaway. Helpful, friendly management.

We were so grateful to find this gem on our road trip to Townsville! Wanda was incredibly accommodating and helped us out last minute with a place to stay. The accommodation had everything we needed for a quick and comfortable stopover. Super affordable, clean, and Wanda was just so lovely—friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Highly recommend if you’re passing through and need an stress-free place to rest!
