This pet emergency facility should not be in business! Franklin Tennessee is a growing, beautiful area and with all the new construction I hope another emergency center for animals opens soon. The focus of the "Pet Emergency Treatment Service" seems to be making money. Upon our visit, we waited almost three hours and there was only one pet in front of us. Most importantly, they did not have what was needed for a test that was very important for diagnosing our animal. With the amount of money they charge, they should be fully ... read more
As many dog lovers, my 3 year old Sheltie is like a child to me. Thats why when she suffered from diarhhea and vomiting on a Sunday morning I rushed her to the nearest emergency clinic, as her normal vet was closed. The vet we saw at the clinic was nice enough. However, we felt very uneasy with the extensive treatment he was recommending. He insisted we leave her overnight for 24-48 hours of IV fluids and antibiotics. I was not happy about leaving her and thought he was going to far, but what are you going to do? Its Sunday ... read more
I took my dog to this clinic one Sunday because she was throwing up and had some diarrhea. When the doctor talked to us, he made us feel that she was extremely sick and that she should have many tests done and that she should be kept overnight. I did what I felt was best based on a professional opinion and signed off on what the doctor suggested. We took our cat here who was in very bad shape and severely dehydrated from pylonephritis. The staff was very caring and went above the call of duty. The cat had to be put down as he had no more fight left in him (16 years old). We were devastated. The doctors and staff handled everything with empathy and TLC. As we were collecting our things to leave, one of the veterinary technicians gave me a clay imprint of my cats paw print with his name on it. I will never forget that act of compassion and kindness. I am eternally grat... read more
