I’ve been coming to this dental office for a couple of years now, not because it was the best option, but because my insurance limited my choices. Recently, I had to pay out of pocket for a regular cleaning since my insurance wouldn’t cover it (it was my 2nd cleaning for the same year) and I agreed. Affinity Dental was uncooperative and unwilling to help a patient who is 80 yrs old and for whom English is a second language. She had recently been seen there for a problem tooth and was referred to an endodontist. Unfortunately, over the weekend the problem had evolved to swelling and pain, preventing her from eating or sleeping. We called UCONN Dental Clinic, as instructed by Affinity and explained about the referral and updated them on the new symptoms. This has been the best dental office I've been to in years that actually take Husky insurance. They got me in the same day I called (which is unheard of at other offices, believe me, I've tried!) receptionist was so kind, they were efficient. 10/10 recommended (:
