My dear mother has dementia and is not able to ask for pain medicine but was shouting and acting out and no one knew why. Affinity's hospice nurse immediately recognized the problem and effectively treated my mother's pain, calming her way down without making her sleepy or groggy. I think this team is GOLDEN, exceeding my expectations astronomically. I cannot say enough about how much the entire Affinity team has cared for my mom with professionalism and grace🙏 Wanda and Rosel literally helped me move my Mom out of her memory care and into the car with her belongings last March. Highly recommend Affinity Care of Virginia they provided excellent care and compassion for my mom in the short while she was in hospice care. The doctor was very responsive and kept us informed at all times. They explained the entire process to us in detail and were able to answer all of our questions and concerns.
Minimal communication, no follow through, very disorganized. Delay in care for patients. Delayed medication delivery resulting in missed dosages which negatively effects the vunerable transitioning population. I'm a medical professional with hospice experience and I 10/10 do not recommend.
