I had no experience with Hospice. I was told by the nursing home to bring them in. The few times I did see anyone it was very short. Just enough time to change my dad’s diaper. They never sat in the room for companionship. They never bathed him. When the hospice bed arrived they threw a hospital blanket from his emergency visit two days before and never put the sheet I provided on the bed. My Dad received palliative and hospice care, overall care was alright. But good luck getting the bereavement counselling they offer my Dad has been gone 3 weeks now and no contact. It's now the beginning of October and I've only received one bereavement counselling session, Dad's been gone since the end of June. Definitely can't rely on them. UPDATE: It's now February 20,2025. We have been beyond pleased with the care that my father has been given by his aide and nurses with Affinity. He was in skilled nursing for a few months and there is no comparison to the attention to detail and the compassion given to him by Affinity staff. Choosing Affinity has been the best decision we could of made, keeping my father comfortable and giving him the quality care that he deserves. Thank you Affinity for going above and beyond, we truly appreciate you!!

I will not be recommending this hospice group. I kept finding way too much supplies in my grandma's room, making it harder for those who care for her to find her pajamas and enjoy her photo blanket on the wall. I found 6 medium unopened pull up bags in her bathroom and 7 unopened bags of lotion/ body wash. They just tossed it in her closet. One of the bottles exploded.
