AEVS is owned by over ninety veterinarians and operates seven emergency veterinary clinics in Minnesota (Blaine, Coon Rapids, Duluth, Eden Prairie, Golden Valley, Rochester, St. Cloud). AEVS was established in 1979 and all AEVS clinics are accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). Our mission is to provide excellent client service and high quality urgent, emergency and critical care for cats, dogs and small mammals in support of community veterinarians. We are open nights, weekends and major holidays.

The vet could have realized that he was in over his head after the first surgery on our dog. After 3 failed surgeries to fix a difficult shattered femur, we walked out with the Dr. saying there was nothing else he could do for our 4 year old and otherwise healthy Labrador, with a pin poking through her skin from his last failure. Throughout the process he pushed for amputation and blamed us for poor at home care, which was total BS. We had three other surgeons look at her exrays and records, and here were MANY mistakes made.... read more
brought our German Shepard there after he got clipped by a car and got a broken leg. the staff was awesome and super cordial. definitely recommend and I would use them again

I love these guys. The two times we have had to bring animals there they were quick with treatment and helped us make the best decision for their care. We just brought one of our animals in this weekend. There was nothing they could do and he died there. Just received a card in the mail and a placard with the Rainbow Bridge on it. Brought tears to my eyes and I know they care. Thank you so much for the compassion.
Spent $800 there and couldn't tell me shit waste of money. I live in Brainerd to my time was wasted too.
