Always said I would NEVER go on an escorted tour. Then we went to NYC on one. Will never travel any other way. Just returned from an awesome tour --Majestic Sierras. Our tour guide Denise Wright was an excellent guide...she certainly did her homework. She had things to tell us about things to look for at every turn. And Tony, the bus driver.....he was an absolute gem. I can't believe some of the places he maneuvered the bus. He was amusing and the interaction between Tony and Denise had us laughing constantly. Just returned from my first trip with AFC....and it won't be my last. Cape Cod, Boston and Maine. What an incredible trip. Beautiful sights, wonderful traveling companions, and our guide Deb Howard and bus driver Terry. And the folks in the office in San Diego, Victoria, Katie, Dave and everyone else. My favorite so far with AFC was the Canadian National Parks with Chris McCool. He is a great host and knew a lot of the history on the areas we visited. And he made sure our group flew out when I flight was delayed because of bad weather to our connection to Vegas before he caught his flight home.
We have taken AFC Vacations Ultimate Canyonlands and Norman Rockwell's New England tours and thoroughly enjoyed both of them. Both Deb and Chris are excellent tour managers.
