I can’t remember ever having a better experience at any urgent care facility — or any medical facility, for that matter. I was 90 minutes early for my appointment but I was still seen within 15 minutes of my arrival. Every staff member was personable and professional. The facility was clean and well-equipped. The online appointment and intake processes were very intuitive and very convenient. If you need urgent care in the Joplin area, I highly recommend AFC Urgent Care,
The experience was absolutely wonderful. The practitioner was very mindful, knowledgeable, diligent, and helpful. I truly appreciate the experience and thorough care that I received from the treatment team. Such a breathe of fresh air compared to other options in Joplin.
My 12 year old had been ill all weekend with a sore throat, congestion, and headache. I could not get a same day appointment with his regular pediatrician, so I took him by AFC Urgent Care. We did not have an appointment, but we were able to see a provider within 10 minutes. He was screened for Strep infection, flu a and b, and covid. Recieved a diagnosis with instructions for care and was out the door within 30 minutes. Fantastic staff! Great care! Thank you so much!
Front staff was rude and unprofessional before I can even get in the door. Don't want to be mistreated ever but especially when I'm sick. Care provider was nice, listened, good bedside manners but lied about ability to treat pain thru urgent care. I had been in severe pain, an 8 on a scale of 1-10. Care provider said urgent cares cannot write pain meds and that is a lie. My throat was raw, my tonsils were swollen, my chest and ribs hurt from 4 days of coughing, I had not slept at all in 4 days and was dealing with dangerous... read more
Not very often do we get to feel a genuine environment. Very lovely staff. Quick and easy process :)
