I had a Groupon voucher for 1 hour lymphatic drainage. I came early to my appointment so it was nice that they’d let me in but their service is terrible. First they tried to sell me another package, I said no the first time but tried again. The Groupon voucher apparently does not include taxes so had to pay taxes and they did not provide me a full service. I give it 2 stars because the sauna did help. First and foremost, I was quoted one price and it was increased by $11.00 because I was using a debit card. I went for the lymphatic drain massage and the sauna. The suit that was used for compression was too tight and I had to ask a couple of times to have it loosened up. It actually caused a bruise on my arm. I was body shamed and told I should not eat after 6pm. I told the technician that I was swollen due to medication. It was embarrassing and insulting. This was an absolutely lovely spa! From the beautifully decriated interior, to the utmost hygiene, to the terrific facial and acupuncture, by far my favourite in NYC. Will definitely be back!
