Vacuum Cleaner Gone! – On September 5, I gave my vacuum cleaner to a man making house calls on behalf of Electrolux, for a "retuning" and a new hose. He promised to return the vacuum cleaner in a week. Two weeks later, he announced by phone that he would be delivering it on a Saturday. We changed our personal plans to be on hand for the delivery.
