We are very grateful for all the care and loving support that the Aegis staff showed our father Jerry over the past two years while he was living at the Ventura residence. Making the decision to move there after 95 years of living on his own was hard for him, but he soon established a routine of going to the fitness classes, playing cards with friends, and socializing at meals. We question management’s methods at this facility. They allow residents that are a danger to visitors as well as to other residents.
Looks like they are taking good care of my Uncle. He's much more chipper since moving in.
After caring for my husband who has dementia at home with very good caregivers for 2 1/2 years, I knew he needed more mental stimulation than I could provide. My elder care advisor took me to Aegis Living Center first and I now know why she did. From the beginning Mary Sawyer made my decision to move my husband there very easy answering all the worries and misgivings I had. And that was just the beginning.
