Bonnie has been at 2 other places and noticably was not happy and was depressed and sad. Since she has been here you can notice change in her mood; everytime we come ans visit her - her nails hair is done and dressed,room is always cleaned, loves the activities and is engaging. Mom was very thin when she first came and and now has gained weight. Highly recommend Aegis, I love the staff!!
Such a wonderful home experience! A perfectly lovely building with a grand entrance into an oversized living room, complete with a baby grand piano! On many days, music fills the air, reminiscent of a bygone era. Residents are all treated like much loved family members, no matter their affliction. Visiting my friend with dementia is heartbreaking, as it often feels like I’m visiting a shadow of who they once were. Despite the sadness, I make time to stop by and say hello whenever I can. I especially look forward to days with engaging activities, as they keep us both occupied and bring a bit of joy. Wednesdays are a highlight—we arrange flowers in vases for the residents, and it’s heartwarming to see their pride in their creations. While the building may not be the newest, the heart and soul of this place are truly unmatched. This place has been here for many years, many of our friends recommended us here. It is very central of Las Vegas and the staff really cares for their seniors that live in here. Beautiful outdoors. I would recommend.
