Management and/or ownership changed hands in the last several months, as well as a turnover of the majority of the staff. Since then, their standard of care has plummeted. Would not recommend anyone bring a loved one here.
Bonnie has been at 2 other places and noticably was not happy and was depressed and sad. Since she has been here you can notice change in her mood; everytime we come ans visit her - her nails hair is done and dressed,room is always cleaned, loves the activities and is engaging. Mom was very thin when she first came and and now has gained weight. Highly recommend Aegis, I love the staff!!
Such a wonderful home experience! A perfectly lovely building with a grand entrance into an oversized living room, complete with a baby grand piano! On many days, music fills the air, reminiscent of a bygone era. Residents are all treated like much loved family members, no matter their affliction. Snacks are passed out regularly as guest musicians gleefully ply their trade. Meals are served 3 times a day in a familiar dining room adjacent to the residents rooms.
