Very poor customer service I called for a copy of my daughters medical records be emailed for my own records, and after a couple hours I called back to check on the status, which then at that point I was told they couldn’t find the record so basically you just had me waiting until closing. We scheduled an appointment in advance. We received text confirmation and email confirmation as well for this appointment. Infact we received a text saying they were running a few minutes late for the appointment. but all doors were locked when we arrived at our scheduled time. No one inside either. Wasted our time driving here for our medical needs. Also no one answers the phone and their voicemail is full. We will not be going back.
I have noticed many reviews talking about "surprise billing" and as someone who worked there during peak covid, I would like to give context/firsthand experience. I was a data entry clerk along with two other employees. There was an influx of patients coming in because of advertised "free COVID tests". ⚠️ Do Not Recommend – Surprise Billing & Rude Service ⚠️ My child visited AED Urgent Care in Newark on October 12, 2023. At the time, we had active insurance, and we confirmed by phone that they accepted our insurance before the visit. Then—more than a year and a half later—on April 23, 2025, we received a surprise bill for $709.51 for that same visit.
