Severed my Rogers internet line while installing fibre optic . ..now it's my responsibility to call Rogers to get it fixed ...meanwhile no tv internet or home phone!
Aecon was contracted through Bell to put in a line to my neighbours house, which would have to go through my property. They gave me 2 options, directional/tunnel drilling and cutting my paved driveway. I had decided on directional drilling, and when discussing this with Aecon, they were quite pushy with their preference of cutting my driveway, and wanted me to think about it before deciding. Unsure which Barrie location the workers originated from, but yesterday Aecon showed up to do work contracted by Bell for a neighbour. They were meant to be fixing or replacing their Bell line, but instead dug up OUR Rogers cable and removed it. Apparently they aren’t allowed to do that, but here we are. We now have to wait a month before we can get our line reburied. Not only that, the way their van was parked partially blocking our driveway (they also left the doors of the van open the whole time which took up more space).... read more
