My car broke down after leaving work in San Francisco a couple days ago, the alternator gave out on me. called O'Reillys for a replacement part and they said the cost would be 400 for the part alone AE not only was able to tow my vehicle but gave me a better offer of around 216 for the new alternator and 200 to replace it. On top of that they topped off my oil along with my coolant definitely a solid shop to go to! Was only there for a couple hours and was back on the road fast. Going to be coming back for any auto needs!
I took my car to AE Motors to have the engine replaced because other mechanics had inspected the car and said it was a bad engine and needed to be replaced or rebuilt. Other mechanics had quoted me $10,000 so I decided to get another quote and opinion. I took my car to AE Motors in Daly City where after inspecting the car and running a few test the owner Alex called me to tell me there was nothing wrong with my engine it was actually a different problem and a much cheaper problem. I had a very disappointing experience with this towing company. After my car (a 2024 Honda CR-V in excellent condition) was totaled and taken to their lot, I specifically asked a staff member to remove my car mats and send them to me. He agreed and assured me he would take care of it. After that, communication became inconsistent and unprofessional. HONEST & Excellent Auto Repair!! My dad referred us to Alex and we've been very happy. Alex is a straight forward - no nonsense - honest guy. Genuinely cares about his customers. We have an older Honda Accord and every repair has been very good. Reasonable prices. Alex and crew are definitely our go to for all auto repair needs.
Now I finally understand why Alex has such high ratings! He is incredibly professional. He took my car for a quick test drive and identified the issue immediately, then gave me two options to choose from. His pricing is very reasonable and the service is truly a great value. Alex is the best!
