The person answering the phone was completely rude. People calling your place are obviously going through really tough times. My friend just died I'm in a terrible headspace. It's Tuesday November 11th. Just wanted to put my call was at about 10:45 am. I just said I think I need a psychiatrist right away. She said something like they don't give med's right away. Looks like my bad review from a while ago got deleted. My clinician stopped showing up to appointments and wasn’t returning calls, and it took me weeks of escalating to get an answer from someone at the office about what was going on. They said my therapist had had to go on leave unexpectedly and that they were gonna put me with a new therapist. I was in the DBT program, and they told me they were putting me with another DBT therapist, then they put me with a therapist who doesn’t do DBT. I asked to be put back with the DBT ... read more
Advocates is a great place. They are professional, knowledgeable, kind and caring. They really show that they want to help their clients. I’ve made a lot of progress by going here.
While I didn't do in person, I had a good experience with the therapist. It was quick, but very helpful!
