Do not go to John McMillin! He's awful!! The 1 star reviews are SPOT On! Somehow, my reviews keep getting erased (hmm..) so I'm posting once again.
The absolute worst doctor cold Turkey me off 6 mg Xanax a day all the way down to 1 .25 a day this guy asks the same seven questions like a robot decreases my addrall too I was on for 10 years . True douchebag anytime I tried saying my anxiety horrible he would just blow it off so glad I found a real doctor. And yes mcmillin took me off my Xanax that worked perfectly fine and put me on 8 medications that did nothing
DO NOT GO to "Dr" John McMillan. Unless you prefer a cold hearted psychiatrist that will roll his eyes at you and say "your not gonna (un-alive) yourself" with a smirk when your in the middle of a breakdown. Then instead of giving you the one medication that actually helps you (that he already prescribed btw and just stopped with no reason) he wants to over medicate you on SEVEN different drugs that turn you into a walking zombie. I have been seeing Dr. Mirza for over a year now. We have worked on my medications and I feel she truly listens to my symptoms when changing prescriptions. She is very knowledgeable about psychiatric medications.
If I could give Dr. Mirza zero stars, I would. My boyfriend has been a patient of hers for a long time now, and she has been nothing but useless to him. His most recent appointment was the final straw. She tore into him, blaming him for how he is "always making bad decisions," and refused to help him when he was seeking her out for help. Her only recommendation was to hospitalize himself if "his problems were that bad."
