Dear Advocate Medical Group, I am writing to formally express my disappointment and concern regarding my scheduled initial physical therapy appointment today at 6:30 a.m. This appointment was for ongoing excessive migraine headaches that have been significantly affecting my daily life. Horrible care, they will deny you preventative care then diagnose you via notification in my chart. The dr is going to refuse to talk to you on the phone, he’ll just have the nurse give you a call. Afterwards they will refer you to specialist with a 4 month waiting period.
Their telephone system needs to be completely trashed. Every tine I call to inquire about routine things I end up on hold for at least 15-40 minutes & sometimes nobody answers ...just a worthless recording asking for a callback number! Even if I leave a callback number it's unlikely to get a callback at all. Very very poor telephone system. If it's a lack of employees, THEN HIRE MORE. If it's a matter of incompetence, fire people & start anew. This situation is pitiful.....
I can’t say enough about the outstanding care I’ve received from Dr. Calvin Luu and his nurse Guillermo today.
