I used to love the doctors and staff at Advocate in the OBGYN department. Had two of my three children with them and would recommend them to anyone asking for a great gynecologist in the area. Since they transitioned ownership a couple of years ago the place has DRASTICALLY gone down hill. Choosing to edit my review to 5 stars because this last appointment was great! Problems have been fixed. They were able to get me in the next day and the woman on the phone was very helpful, and everyone was very kind and accommodating when I brought my hyper 3 year old with me. Dr. Davis is great and I would feel comfortable to go back to him for gynecology appointments. I highly recommend both Dr Davis and Dr Patel.

I got a text saying that Dr Davis cancelled my upcoming appointment on May 31st because he would not be in the office. I had been waiting weeks for this appointment. The text said to call and they would reschedule it for me. I called, and the woman on the phone said the next available appt wouldn’t be until September. I asked if Dr Davis had opened any days for the clients that he cancelled on and she said no. I asked if any other doctor could see me sooner, and she said no. I will give 2 stars because the staff is still trying to do everything they can, but my dr was forced out because she was trying to do right for the patients. The staff here is burnt out with no direction from corporate. Advocate has failed their staff and failed their patients. The staff is scrambling trying everything they can yet corporate has tied their hands so they can't do anything. 6 providers left at once because of their decision to only use advocate hospitals among other reasons. 6 great providers left because of ... read more
