My wife received care here during her pregnancy in [2025]. We are an interracial couple. During Maternal-Fetal Medicine visits, I observed conduct that made us uncomfortable. For example, at one appointment, the physician touched my wife’s thigh while I was present, which did not seem related to the exam. At a separate visit, an ultrasound staff member made a comment to my wife in the waiting area that felt inappropriate. We also overheard staff discussing patients in public areas. Horrible experience! Had to wait hours even after the appointment Scheduled. Staff is very rude.
My daughter in law recently delivered my second grandson in June 2020 at Lutheran General. My daughter-in-law was in this practice (Advocate LGH maternal fetal medicine) for the entire pregnancy and delivery. I cannot recommend this practice more highly. I am a nurse in obstetrics with bedside experience in perinatal, mother baby, and newborn nursery. I believe this practice is one of the best in the country.
