This place absolutely suck had to go in twice cause urgent care doctors suck at there job second time I went in I was sicker than first cause doctor refused to give me antibodies for a sinus infection that then turned into pneumonia!!! I took my son to Advocate Medical Group Immediate Care Center for a follow-up visit at the end of summer 2025. I paid my copay at the time of the visit, as required by my insurance. Months later, in January 2026, I suddenly received an email from a COLLECTION AGENCY saying I owed $40. The problem? I was never sent a bill from Advocate Medical Group. I was treated quickly and both the nurse and doctor were very nice. I was diagnosed with a sinus infection and given Bioxin and three days of Predisone. Today, six days later, I saw my internist and he was shocked that they gave me the antibiotic Bioxin. It should not be taken with Lipitor, which I also take for cholesterol. The combination of the two can cause severe liver damage. So now I certainly question the knowledge of the doctors at Sherman Immediate Care Center and will never go there again. I’m a teacher, I was feeling horrible few days before school started. I went a day before school started (August 5) hoping to get a better idea of I had. I only got a Covid test which came back negative. The doctor decided it was viral because my cough. I asked if I could have a pill for the cough, which he did. I went in on 8/20 for an ear infection. Front desk, my nurse Lisa and doctor Nida Malik were so friendly, nice, and quick, i felt truly welcomed. The new facility is just beautiful also! Love the fact they didn't move too far, just around the corner by TJMax.
