Went to pay my bill
Never did any throat or nasal swab but billed for one. When questioned tried to make me look like a crazy. If my wife did not work for them, I will sue them the way they spoke to me and her. NP was okay. Nurse (dark haired) was HORRIBLE. Avoid this place.
My review was also taken down..I was misdiagnosed. The medicines listed on form are incorrect. After hearing from investigator I was told that the advil i was prescribed was OK to take with ckd. It is not. I was billed for something that never happened and most importantly the nurse practitioner lied about what she told me. I am now escalating this horrific experience.
Based on my experience and others' reviews, this location is an excellent candidate for a class action lawsuit for being in violation of the recent expansion of IL's Fair Patient Billing Act! I presented to Advocate Good Shepherd Immediate Care in Crystal Lake in May 2026 with a sore throat, and I received simple rapid swab tests and a bacterial culture to check for strep, COVID-19, and Influenza A&B (all came back negative). The Crystal Lake Post Office is one of the best around good counter staff. They move you through. They're friendly. They're helpful and locations pretty convenient. Also when you walk in you feel comfortable. It's got windows all around. It's nice and bright. I like this office more than others. Maybe it's just the folks that give me that impression that and I'll say that for sure. They're definitely good people working there.!
