“Forget get the heroics.” That’s what some emergency room Doc told me when they brought my dying brother into that facility. Other than that it’s Ok just as long as nothing extra is involved.
This is the third time I had a horrible E.R. experience at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital. I was treated very bad. Nobody would give me a blanket, even though they saw me shivering. They left my legs dangling from the bed and did not offer to prop them up. They were monitoring my heart, which I didn't need. One nurse in particular, Michelle, said I couldn't get up to use the rest room. She placed my medical equipment behind me, so that I couldn't get up. She was a real snot and not professional at all.
