Would definitely recommend this facility! Came in to the ER for a laceration that needed stitches, was in and out in about 45 minutes! Wait time in the lobby area was only a couple of minutes. At most, spent about 5 minutes waiting for the nurse to come in once I was in a room. She was very kind, took the time to answer all my questions and explain things to me before stitching me up. The front desk staff was also super helpful and kind when checking in and out.
My child fell from the bed. I checked my baby, and he was perfectly fine, but I took him to the ER to be 100% sure. ( you can tell my baby is well taken care of , 8 pounds baby, clean with all his baby essentials, no bruises or scratches ) The nurse was a racist woman with blonde hair; she called CPS. They called her back and told her there was no need for an investigation; it was clearly an accident. She wasn’t happy, so she asked them if they could contact me to offer me some benefits. Excellent staff but horrible care management. Had to wait 3 hours for the ambulance and it would be more if other patient did not cancel as she was admitted. The truck was super dirty and old and it broke down just right in 5 min. I was in the ambulance fore another 40 min waiting for another ambulance to transfer. Try to go to Highland park or Skokie hospital.
I had an excellent experience at the ER Department despite the non-welcoming security process. From the moment I arrived, the nursing staff was kind, attentive, and professional. The check-in process was smooth, and I didn’t feel overlooked at any point. The nurses and doctors took the time to listen carefully, explain everything clearly, and made sure I was comfortable throughout my visit. The RN ordered the right test immediately.
