In 2016 I went to the emergency room on the verge of bleeding to death. The doctor asked me flat out if I wanted to live or die. I told him I wanted to live. The next thing I know all of his staff are in there with annoyed and angry faces, then they stick a catheter in me forcefully while I'm awake. Terrible service, terrible wait time and a lot of staff are just rude especially for this to be a hospital for the sick and weak, they definitely treat you like they don't care at all. I dnt even know why I'm writing this bcuz it ain't like anything is going to change.
1 NURSE TO 11 PATIENTS I came here with appendicitis. I sat in the waiting room for 8 hours. They finally got me into a room. I sat in the room for 2+ hours. Not a single nurse or doctor or anybody came to check on me. I hit the call button twice nobody came. I was in a lot of pain. Nobody came to look at me or anything. My lab work came back hours before I went into the room. I heard a patient go up to a nurse and ask for help. As I’m writing this I’ve been in the lobby waiting to be seen for 3 hours now. I came here instead of going to Vista in Waukegan. I think I made the wrong decision. Update: They finally called my name after three hours just to tell me “we would love to help you out but we don’t have any rooms” and “we don’t have a nurse she should be here in 10 or 15 minutes” I have never in my life had a more horrible experience at a hospital for something so simple.
