Called to make an appointment and specifically asked if they take my blue cross blue shield PPO. Spent 20 minutes on the phone with a lady telling her my insurance ID and all of my other information. She told me it was covered. It wasn’t until I called to check in that they told me my insurance is “out of network”. Waste of my time and money.
If I could I would give 0 stars. I understand when making appointments someone or I could make a simple mistake. Meaning putting the wrong reason for the visit. Everything online these days could be confusing. I go to this clinic, sick with an illness and the doctor turned me away explaining I put the appointment reason wrong so she wouldn’t be able to see me. What a pathetic excuse for a doctor. I’ve never had any issues with Walgreens and their Advocate clinic until today.
