My CT was scheduled WO contrast because I'm allergic. Did not appreciate the male technician asking me to drink contrast. When I said the CT is WO contrast he said oh contrast is IV He said you drink water don't you? I said yes but I'm not drinking that. He put the bottle back into the storage area. A patient should never be treated like a 3yr old asked to drink/take something without explanation. I knew that was contrast and not water. I'm a retired nurse from an inner city hospital. He was out of line.
