I had the most incredible experience at Adventist Health, thanks to an outstanding team of nurses and doctors who truly went above and beyond for me. My day nurse, Maggie, was nothing short of amazing. She cared for me with such kindness, patience, and dedication. She stayed by my side, encouraged me when I felt like giving up, and made me feel safe and supported throughout the day. I gave birth here twice, but I specifically want to talk about my experience in February 2023, and the lasting, positive effect the staff had on me. I had no support person throughout my labor, but never once did I feel like I was alone. Unfortunately I can’t remember her name, but one nurse in particular sat beside me for pretty much the entire time and held my hand and spoke kindly to me even when I was screaming at her. My labor and delivery experience was great! I knew I did the right choice in delivery here based on the reviews. I had several amazing staff such as Goneeka, Mandy, Niela and etc. Thank you level of care for all you do, I couldn’t have done it without amazing nurses and staff.
I was very nervous about having my baby here, as this hospital is in a small town and I was a first time mom, I thought about a lot! However, I had a great experience here. I felt like my concerns were heard, the nurses were kind and Dr. Minassi delivered us that day, she was awesome. My biggest fear was not getting my PCN before delivery and I did and in a timely manner! The food could use some improving and a meal provided each day to the support person/spouse would be nice.
